—an interactive day of information and ideas to provide help and hope in your job transition—
Networking Made Easy – Amy Dinning/Michael Goldberg – We will start out Jump Start with the dos and don’ts of networking and the opportunity to practice your networking techniques.
Critical Networking Tools for Your Toolkit – Ford Myers – Since networking is such a critical method of job search, Ford will focus on critical tools for successful networking: networking script, networking agenda, networking profile, target-company list, networking tracking and mini-newsletter. Mastering these tools and techniques will dramatically increase the productivity and success of your job search!
Charisma: How to Positively Present Yourself So People Take Notice – Matt Levy – Charisma is the ability to attract, charm and influence the people around you—an important skill for job search and success in life. The good news is that recent studies have found charisma to be not so much a gift as a learnable skill that you can master. In this thought-provoking and action-oriented session, you will learn skills to help you be more charismatic—in person, online and on paper.
