Partner Event - PANMA - The State of Coworking in Philadelphia

  • Thu, October 25, 2018
  • 5:30 PM - 8:00 PM
  • Wharton School of the University of PA, 3730 Walnut Street, Philadelphia, PA 19104 Rom 265

Commuting to an office, settling into the same old cubicle, and cranking out the work 9 to 5? Not so much the default any more. More and more of us are coworking – and “coworking spaces” are definitely not all the same. What does “coworking” mean? What are the different experiences found in the places that offer what they call coworking? What is the role of community?

PANMA presents a panel discussion of this important phenomenon as it happens in our area. You’ll hear from:

  • Alex Hillman, co-founder of Independents Hall, better known as IndyHall, and Anaia Daigle, IndyHall Tummler
  • Nick Winkler, founder, Work2gether
  • An additional space, TBA!

While these places have some common characteristics – shared desks, various amenities, access to wifi/printers/conference rooms – are they really all alike, with differences only in style? And if they different, what makes them different? Get the perspectives and insights of people operating 3 of the Philadelphia area’s coworking spaces and come away with some new insights of your own.
