Description:

Let's admit it: Most e-learning content just plain sucks. The sad reality is that most e-learning courses require learners to sit through disappointing experiences where information is poorly organized, the content isn't relevant, and the interactions seem contrived and without purpose. During this session you will explore many of the reasons why most e-learning fails and the components that contribute to bad e-learning design. You'll explore several practical methods you can immediately apply to fix your bad e-learning courses.

Applications:

  • Understand why e-learning isn't always the answer.
  • Learn why clicking doesn't make interactivity meaningful.
  • Comprehend why good e-learning requires more than instructional design.

Facilitator:

Tim Slade - Speaker, Author & Award-Winning Freelance eLearning Designer

Tim Slade is a speaker, author, and founder of The eLearning Designer's Academy.
