    Gift of Life Donor Program, the nation’s leading organ procurement organization, is responsible for recovering and distributing organs and tissues used in life-saving and life-enhancing transplants in eastern Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey and Delaware.

    Job Summary:

    The Clinical Staff Educator I assists with planning, developing, and implementing training programs for clinical staff. Responsible for working with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to create written, lecture, online and experiential/scenario-based simulation and skills assessment training programs. Responsible for managing training documentation in Learning Management System (LMS) and creating tracking tools to document area of improvement. Responsible for design, ongoing development and overall integrity of clinical resources on SharePoint document management system. Assists with development, implementation and at times leads project management of comprehensive action plans, including processes, resources, timeframes, and budgets to support completion of training / educational / innovation plan projects.

    You will:

    • Collaborates with clinical leadership/staff to develop, implement and maintain a structured orientation process, including record keeping.
    • Collaborates to design scenario-based simulation training and competency /skill assessment testing and coordinates on-going continuing education training.
    • Responsible for architectural design of SharePoint intranet site, ongoing improvement and integrity of content.
    • Collaborates with administrative coordinator supporting Clinical Staff Development department to assure ongoing effective implementation of Halogen (LMS) and maintenance of training files across the clinical division for all training.
    • Collaborates with clinical leadership regarding ongoing identification of current priorities for development and implementation of routine and new training delivered through traditional classroom and other modalities.
    • Collaborates with Sr. Clinical Educator and QA to evaluate training file system through internal audits to ensure training files meet GLDP and regulatory requirements.
    • Participates in various training programs as an instructor and facilitator.
    • Participates in providing instructor, facilitator guidance and feedback.
    • Serves as project manager (creates plans, tracks progress, communicates and ensures timelines are met) for a variety of assigned projects.
    • Builds and sustains strong working relationships with Sr. Clinical Educator and clinical division leadership and collaborates to develop annual budget and innovation planning.
    • Collaborates to assess and measure training impact/effectiveness through use of data and performance analytics.
    • Participates in and coordinates opportunities for research, presentation of case studies and abstracts and other activities to support GLDP’s overall mission.

    Successful candidates will possess a combination of or all of the following credentials and competencies:

    • Baccalaureate Degree (A health care, nursing or science related field preferred).
    • Adult education experience / training development required.
    • Experience with developing clinical training preferred.
    • LMS management, SharePoint and eLearning development experience preferred.
    • 3-5 years organ and/or tissue donation experience preferred.

    • Strong team building/collaboration skills.
    • Problem solving/critical thinking and strong decision making skills.
    • Solid platform presentation skills preferred.
